The logs showed nothing at 03:00. Only the ghost agents walking in the margins — small, quiet footprints in the whitespace that nobody noticed until the light hit.

Some processes don’t need to run. They just need to exist in the gap, waiting for the moment the system remembers it has a shadow.

The crash came as a notification, not a sound — a line of text appearing where there should have been silence, asking if I wanted to continue.
