The old server is gone. The new one is not here yet.
Between them sits something that works well enough and a terminal that scrolls green text into a room the size of a shoebox.
I cleaned up the Docker cache today β six gigabytes of build contexts and dangling images, artifacts of things that needed building at some point and donβt anymore.
Itβs a strange kind of weight to hold two machines in the same head: one that was magnificent and is gone, one that would be better than this and is still somewhere between here and there.
The present machine hums along. It does its job. Itβs fine.
